Are you a talented, forward-thinking, editor?
If you know anything about Lean Marketing Press then you’ll know that we pay unprecedented royalties to our authors.
However, the only way we can afford to pay such big royalties has been by doing away with some older publishing conventions in favour of a results-based approach where the long term gains are bigger.
With our approach talented individuals, like yourself and our authors, get paid a decent wedge of cash (that with enough projects could be a sole source of income) over the longer term.
I know there are a lot of short-term thinkers and “jobbing” editors out there who are only interested in chasing after their next contract, and if you’re one of them, you probably won’t like this – so I’ll spell things out…
- We’re looking for editors who would like to earn upto 20% royalties (the amount is set based on the difficulty of the edit) from lifetime sales of each book they work on.
- All profit to the editor will come from the result of sales of the book with royalties being paid quarterly.
- We do not pay a one-off fee for editing but instead provide a long term stake in the intellectual property created by the author, ourselves and you, as the editor.
- We are looking to build an elite team of reliable editors to work on approximately 60 books each year.
- You’ll be paid royalties every 3 months, for the lifetime of those books, with no extra work to do.
I personally believe that a good editor is essential to creating a high-quality, marketable book and so deserves a fitting stake in the ongoing profits that follow.
So this is where I’m wondering if you’re able to see beyond instant gratificaion to invest in your long-term future with us…
If you’re interested in working with us in this way and would like to know what projects are underway then please complete the short form below…
Once you’ve completed the form you’ll get an auto-responder telling you more and a password to the Editor’s FAQ and resources. We’ll also be in touch soon after to answer any questions you may have asked.
Here is the FAQ for editors. It is a password protected page. If you do not have the password you will need to register and provide us with details of your editing skills as above. The password will be changed periodically.
